Morris Tube Cube Ice Makers

 

Tube-Cube ice makers with capacities from 10 to 110 tons per day are available for use with packaged freon or ammonia based refrigeration or for connection to central refrigeration systems.

The new standard in tube ice, these stainless steel machines are the most energy and water efficient machines produced today. Our patented clear ice system ensures clear, hard ice delivered in a sanitary method. Tube-Cube users tell us they love the space saving 6' x6' footprint, the ability to install the ice maker inside or outside, and the fully enclosed fiberglass panel that helps reduce noise and protect the ice maker from the elements.

The Tube-Cube is available in a variety of diameters ranging between 7/8" and 1 3/8". For packaged ice installations where shape and size are critical, an optional stainless steel cutter can produce standard cubes. For industries where size and shape aren't as important, such as in food processing, fresh produce, and industrial applications, a cutterless configuration is a better solution; and with the cutterless Tube-Cube there are no moving parts to maintain.

  • 5-, 10-, and 18 ton units utilize Copeland semi-hermetic compressors.
  • All units include, as standard, gauges, sight glasses, filters, oil separator, oil safety cutout control, suction and discharge stop valves and all necessary isolation valves.
  • Fully insulated suction accumulator with boil out coil, complete with isolations valves, hi-level safety switch and safety relief valves.
  • All necessary valves piped and wired, including:
  1. Liquid solenoid valve with thermostatic expansion valve and isolation valves.
  2. Hot gas solenoid valve and bypass solenoid with isolation valves
  3. Pilot opeerated gas powered automatic suction valve with isolation valves.
